Hymn # 701 Shall We Gather at the River
Benediction God’s people celebrate all that God has done, from creation, to the cross, to the saints who have lived among us. Now we go from this place to the work place, the home place, the market place; every place living as God’s own people. Song for Departure (to the tune of Edelweiss)
May the Lord, mighty God, bless and keep you forever; grant you peace, perfect peace, courage in every endeavor. Lift your eyes and see God’s face, and his grace forever. May the Lord, mighty God, bless and keep you forever.

*Call to Worship (real aloud together) We gather together in the name of our God, the Maker of heaven and earth, who calls us away from the customs and attitudes of the world around us, and invites us instead into a transforming relationship with Him and with one another. Let’s worship God together!
Opening Prayer (prayed by pastor) Lord God, Maker of heaven and earth, we gather together in Your name. We come as living sacrifices, to offer You our worship and thanksgiving, our praise and our prayers. Come among us, living Lord. Through the power of Your Holy Spirit, transform our hearts and minds so that we may recognize Your presence, hear Your voice, know Your will, and walk in Your way. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
